SG43 1d Red Plate 225 (JE)

SG43 1d Red Plate 225 (JE) VFU. Plate 225 with Fine CDS Cancel is missing from virtually every 1d Red Corner Letters plate collection, due to being the scarcest of all the officially issued plate numbers and only spent a short period at press. Generally most examples offered are faulty, heavily cancelled, not really plate 225 or cancelled over the plate number. This example being VFU for a 1d Red, and the plate numbering is completely clear and easily readable on both sides and definitely one of the better examples of this very scarce stamp out there. An absolutely superb example !
